MaDonna is going to Africa on April 12 for 2 weeks! While she is there, she is going to be teaching people to sew on machines with Mothers Without Borders. We are very excited about this opportunity and could use your help! Donation Items for MaDonna to take to Africa!
Clothing (Can be gently used if clean and in good condition (ie: no rips, tears, broken zippers or buttons, etc.)
Baby Clothes – All sizes
Coats, Sweatshirts, Long Sleeve T-Shirts, Girl’s church dresses, Boy’s dress shirts and trousers, Jeans – Size Child 4 to Adult Medium
Athletic Shoes & Flip Flops – All sizes
Belts – Men’s sizes
Socks & Underwear – All sizes
Pencils & Pens
Small pencil sharpeners
Rulers (must have cm)
Belt style swings and swing chains for playground
Basic Sewing Supplies (Please NO rotary cutters/blades or large rulers or fabric)
Anything from your basic sewing kit
Seeds – Tomato, Carrot, Onion, Bell Peppers, Lead Lettuce, Swiss Chard, Kale, Broccoli, Cauliflower, and Cabbage
Hygiene (It is preferable if you can contribute all of these items in a kit in a ziplock bag)
Full size soap
Full size toothpaste
3 month size pajamas
Baby hat and socks
Cloth diapers and diaper pins
Full size bar of soap
Athlete’s foot cream
Kid Activities (We are not looking for any other toys than what is listed here. Please do not donate candy, gum, treats, or miscellaneous toys.)
Deflated soccer balls, pumps and needles
Long rope suitable for group jump rope activities
